Pacific Storm 1.6 Retail Patch Available

Today we are pleased to release a new retail patch for Pacific Storm, the WWII Pacific Theater strategy/action game. The new patch, which brings retail versions of the game up to version 1.6, addresses some crash to desktop issues that could occur in very limited circumstances, along with addressing minor game performance issues related to the game’s copy protection scheme. This is a cumulative patch that includes all previously released patches for the North American retail (and digitally distributed) version of Pacific Storm. cdv Software Entertainment USA, in cooperation withBuka Entertainment, released a new patch for Pacific Storm, their WWII
hybrid strategy/action title for PC today. The new patch brings the
retail game to version 1.5, and offers multiple fixes, gameplay tweaks
and broader operating system compatibility. For more details regarding

Computer Games Online conducted an interview with Aleksey Pshekhonov, Producer at Buka Entertainment, about Pacific Storm."The main battles of the Pacific war are represented in the campaigns. Players can witness the Pearl-harbor attack and the battle for Midway, but the AI may prefer to hit weaker points in the player's defense, which may change some of the historical battles."
